Jean de la Chambre had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He reached fame as a world-class teacher and calligrapher. However, the schoolmaster, engraver and calligrapher active in Haarlem and Beverwijk was especially known for his unusual sense of fashion and his delightful character.
